The trophies you get from fighting with the Officer Patent equiped. I struggled more because I am playing a zero loss game and that makes it harder. Some units are better against certain enemies. If you are struggling, try different unit combinations. I also had some Sea Dogs in one of my reserve slots because they give you extra gold when you find it in piles or in chests. When I did start fighting, I had a Red Dragon, a Green Dragon, some Assassins, some Marauders, and some Inquisitors. ![]() That allowed me to gather a lot of leadership flags, items, spells, gold, runes, crystals, etc. I managed to unlock 5 islands before I had to fight a single combat. But like that game, you can run around enemies collecting stuff before engaging in combat. Especially compared to King's Bounty: The Legend. I always make sure I have at least one of each on hand.I struggled a bit with this game at first too. (The only time I buy scrolls to use in battle is very early in the game before I have learned Dispel or Heal. ![]() ![]() I hardly ever buy scrolls to use in battle, but will use good ones I find in clutch situations when needed. What I do is sell to castles until I have room for 1 more scroll right before I plan to buy a scroll to learn as a spell, and then buy all the scrolls I want one at a time and learn them before continuing on my journey and inevitably finding more. You're likely WAY above your limit and don't realize it because you picked up so many as drops and never sell them. There's a limit to how many you can hold, however, this only applies to buying them.if you find them as drops it still lets you carry them even if you're at your limit. SCROLLS are the items you pick up that you can use in battle by clicking on the item. SPELLS are the things you've already learned, that you can cast in battle using mana. I think OP doesn't it means SCROLLS and not SPELLS, so let me clarify. ![]()
